Our Story
Atbom Group started as a small metal-roofing shop and grew into a manufacturer and installer of full roof-and-energy systems — because the gaps between vendors were where every project went wrong.
How We Started
Atbom began in 2008 fabricating standing-seam metal roofing for local contractors out of a single workshop in Emmett, Idaho.
As solar demand grew, our founders kept hearing the same complaint from customers: the roofer blamed the solar installer for leaks, the solar installer blamed the roofer's flashing, and the property owner was stuck between two warranties that didn't talk to each other.
So we built our own energy division — panels, inverters, and mounting hardware engineered to sit on our own roofing from day one — and trained an install crew to fit both. Today Atbom manufactures roofing, insulation, and solar products sold through distributors and contractors nationwide, and installs them directly for customers who want one company, one warranty, one call.
Milestones
Started producing standing-seam steel panels for local roofing contractors in Emmett, Idaho.
Expanded the catalog to asphalt shingle and flat-roof membrane systems to serve residential and commercial clients.
Began manufacturing solar panels and rail-less mounting hardware engineered for Atbom roofing systems.
Added rigid polyiso insulation manufacturing to close the gap between deck and roofing in our system spec.
Reached 40+ distributor and contractor partners carrying the Atbom product catalog outside our install region.
Crossed 3,400 completed roof-and-energy installs and 1.2MW of cumulative solar capacity installed.
